REVIEW: Pond's BB cream

Its been like forever since I last posted a blog. So Lets get this blog started. YUHOO! :)

I came across Pond's BB Cream last June and I was very excited so I immediately bought it. At first I didn't love it because of the shade of this BB Cream. It is too light for my skin tone which ofcourse is a very big no no for me. So to cut the story short, I was cleaning my train case and out of nowhere I saw my Pond's BB Cream. Then I decided to give this BB cream a second chance. I don't want to do a review unless I didn't tried the product for at least a month or two. So that I can share with you guys an 100% honest review :)

So my Review will Compose of the DPC which stands for:

Description:

Packaging:
       I love the packaging of this BB cream. It is very classy. The color is fantastic.

It has a pointed tip which makes it super easy to apply. I love the pointed tip of this BB Cream. :)

Coverage: 
     The coverage of this BB Cream is phenomenon. It is amazing. It covers my red spots and other blemishes. I love the coverage of this BB Cream. Not watery at all. Has a very thick consistency.

      - it won't look cakey in your face
     - it covers my red spots and other blemishes.
     - not watery
     - smells really really good
     - affordable
     - my skin looks bright and radiant
     - after applying this BB cream my skin feels very soft just like a baby.. :)
     - amazing for dry skin like me. You wont need any moisturizer which is fantastic. Money Save!                yuhoo! Life saver LOL!
     - affordable, not too pricey.
      - my face looks flawlessly white
      - it has SPF which is a must here in our place (Philippines)
      - not heavy at all
      - last for 4-6 hours
      - the product is very very thick

CONS:
      - too light for my skin tone :(
      - dewy finish no big deal for me me


Conclusion: 

      Therefore I conclude that this product is one of my top picks for a BB Cream. If only they have tons of shades then definitely this will be my number 1 best BB Cream. Great for fair skin tone. I will definitely buy this BB Cream again. Great for people who are on tight budget and student friendly product.

Make-up Essential for beginners...:)

Yea, so its been an issue for me whether what is really really my make up essentials. What I must have in my make up kit, if I'm on really tight budget? What make up I really need?

 There's a lot of make up products out there. So it is really really hard to choose if what make up you really need for everyday look. Of course, there are liquid foundations, concealers, mascara, bronzers, blush, lipsticks, eye shadows, pencil liner, highlighter, liquid liner and etc. So I've been thinking about what make up product that I can't live without. Its super hard to choose because I love make up.


If you are on really tight budget and want to look fabulous. Then you must evaluate what you like, what you love, and just go with it.

There are like a lot of make up product that I will die just to have it but After how many hours of evaluating, my MUST HAVE make up essentials:

1). FOUNDATION/ BB CREAM:

                     I can't live without foundation or BB cream. You see I don't have the most amazing skin. And I'm very insecure with my face, so I always want my face to look flawless. Foundation/ BB cream helps cover my flaws.

2). LIQUID LINER:

             I love liquid eye liner to death. It saves my life. Liquid liner makes my eyes pop, smaller, look like an anime. I'm not impress with gel liner for some reason. I guess it is because it dries out easily and I have oily skin so it tends to smudge which I hate. At the end of the day I look like I've been punch or I have black eye which is not good at all. And it also makes my eye bags look very visible. So, I'm not a fan of gel liner.
 

3). CONCEALER
   
          If I can't live without my foundation then I also can't live without my concealer. Concealer have always been my best friend for the past years. I always always have to have a concealer in my make up kit. Concealer for me is a miracle make up product ever. It makes my imperfections vanish. I super love concealer.

4). LIP TINT

        Yes, I can't live without my lip tint. It is very important to me. In my last make up review (nichido lipstick) I said that I'm not a fan of lip stick. Yes I'm not a fan of lipstick, maybe because I haven't tried high ends lipstick or maybe I'm just not comfortable wearing lipstick. Here in our place, make up is a very big deal for them I just don't know why. If your wearing make up then they stare at you and start talking about you which is so weird, it is very uncomfortable.

     I love lip tint because it looks very natural and unlike lipstick it is not sticky. One more thing why I love lip tint, is because you can also use it as your blush which is amazing. That's the reason why I didn't include blush in my list of make up essentials.



               There are lot of products (cosmetics) in the world and not all are affordable. So if youre beginner or just starting to collect make up for your make up kit then always make sure that you have all the products listed. There are high ends brands and also drugstore brands for all this make up products, they are all your choice. So don't forget that looking your best doesn't have to be expensive. Till next time. :)

Review: Nichido High Definition Lipstick

I'm not really a fan of lipsticks because I don't like the feel of it. It feels so sticky in my lips. But when I came across the NICHIDO High Definition lipstick, I said to myself lets give it a try. They have 8 shades in their collection which are: glam red, tropical coral, love potion, fetish pink, pretty tulip, rouge blossom, dolly pink and passion fruit. I've been collecting make up for my make up box and lip stick is one of the make up that must be available in your make up box. I'm just planning to buy one just to try it out but then I love the 2 shades which is the Fetish Pink and the glam red, so I decided to buy the 2 of them. This lipstick is affordable, I bought this for P198 which is a very good price for a HD lipstick. I'm looking for nude lipstick in the same brand but unluckily they don't have one. :(


 The lipstick looks like this. The packaging for me is okay. If i'm gonna rate this 1-10, it will be 7/10. I just don't like the print around the packaging. It looks like a lipstick for kids but it doesn't really matter, the product really do matter. The packaging is made of molded plastic. Net wt. 4grams.

I love that it have a removable lip gloss that is in the end of the lip stick. So, if you like extra gloss then you can use that. In my case, I don't like the feeling of stickiness in my lips. It feels very uncomfortable. 

So here's a swatch. It is very pigmented as you can see. Very creamy as well. The smell is like regular lipstick. I really don't like the smell of lipstick, I just don't know why. 

For the fun part. Let's try this out. :)

This is my first application. 

I really don't know why this happen. Maybe I put a lot of product in my lips or its just like this. NO IDEA! As I said I'm not a fan of lipstick. 

After a few minutes, this is what happen.

I hate this. As you can see inside the circle, there are lumps, lines whatever that is. I don't like this at all. It accentuates the crack of my lips. It makes the line of my lips VISIBLE. 

After doing that, this is what my lips look like.

Pretty good. There's lipstick still in my lips which is great. 

So, my favorite the red lipstick. YEY! GLAM RED.

I love this color. It doesn't show my crack or lines, its not very visible unlike the fetish pink. 

So I did the same thing earlier, to see what happen after doing this.

And this is what happen. AMAZING! Its just like nothing happen. :)

So I just go a little bit further, and I try to drink water. To test the lipstick. 

And this is my lips after drinking water. 

It still the same. :) I like it. 

---------------------------after approximately 3 hours-------------------------------

This is my lips after 3 hours. Ofcourse, I eat and drink. Here in our place its super super hot. So also consider the weather. I don't know if it really do matters but just consider the weather. LOL

I don't like this. Just after 3 hours this is what happen to my lips. So you always always need to re touch every 2 hours which is what I don't like. I don't like the idea of going to the rest room just to re touch my lip stick because it looks awful. 

LIKES:

Long lasting, it stays on my lips even though I drink water. Its like a tattoo. It still stays in your lips after drinking water . Very pigmented. Very creamy. It have a lip gloss that goes with the lipstick. Its like a lipstick and lip gloss in the same time. ALL IN ONE. :) I love the shades, very elegant. Very affordable. Local brand which means its made here in the Philippines.

DISLIKES:

There are stains of lipstick in your lips even though you already wash it off. I don't like the smell. I don't like the packaging because it is in plastic (not a big deal though). It accentuates my crack and lines upon wearing the fetish pink but when you wear the bold color like the glam red its not that visible. 

CONCLUSION:

 Honestly speaking I love the lipstick but I just don't like that it accentuates my lines and cracks. The lipstick stays on my lines, that I really don't like about this lipstick. The product is very pigmented, so a little goes a long way. Will I buy this product again? Maybe yes or maybe no, I'm not decided yet but if I'm gonna buy this lipstick again then it will be the Glam red.  

You can still give it a try. This product is okay. If I'm gonna rate this product, then it will be 7/10.

50 LOOKS OF SUMMER: Summer Look #1 My On the Go Look

Hi guys.. 

This is my first ever blog..:) I'm a little bit scared and at the same time excited  doing the blog..So please don't be harsh, I'm still a newbie in this industry so I have many more things to learn and discover..LOL.. 

SO yea enough with that, let me proceed with the outfit. I love being practical when it comes to clothes and accessories. Its not that I hate branded stuff but I just don't see the point of buying too pricey clothes. If it looks good and you feel comfortable then go for it. 

I love pairing my knitted long sleeves with my shorts and boots. Don't forget to wear your inner tube. People might think your a prostitute when your not wearing one, just saying.  

The knitted long sleeves that I'm wearing is from GL Collection. I actually just found it in my closet. LOL. I think my mom owns it. :))) PEACE mama..

Shorts (Jag Thug)  

boots (Parisian) I love Parisian's Shoes, for it is comfortable to wear and of course affordable. LOL.

The accessories that I'm wearing is from my online shop. You can find lots of stuff there. 

The Dang-lings was given to me by my aunt when she went to Europe.

  This is my make up. Here I'm using yellow and black eye shadow. I super love it. :))) Its super cute. :)  Here's the tutorial of this make up look. Which took me ages to do LOL
